I had an interesting conversation with a prospect today.
Someone who was interested in my done-for-you digital marketing package for small businesses.
At first, they seemed excited about getting their business online.
But as we talked, I quickly realized…
They weren’t truly ready to invest.
Later, I learned why.
Their “business” was really more of a side hustle.
Something they enjoyed, but not something they were committed to growing.
And that got me thinking…
There’s a significant difference between a business owner and a hobbyist.
- A hobbyist sees expenses as a cost.
- A business owner sees investments as a growth opportunity.
The truth is, every real business requires investment.
Whether it’s in branding, marketing, or the right systems to attract and convert customers.
The difference between a struggling business and a thriving one isn’t luck.
It’s the decision to invest in what creates growth.
Think about it…
If investing in a professional WordPress website and domain name, Google My Business optimization, and a lead-generating system brings in more clients, more visibility, and more sales…
Isn’t that a no-brainer?
So, I’ll leave you with this challenge…
Are you thinking like a business owner or a hobbyist?
If you’re serious about growing your business and you’re ready to invest in a done-for-you digital foundation that helps build your business, let’s chat.
