Coming back for more

A Day In The Life | 0 comments

When I was in Paris with my family a couple of weeks ago, we found an amazing bakery.

It is called Maison Marquise.

Just a 10 minute walk from our lodging.

The food… amazing and fresh.

The physical space… clean, bright and beautiful.

The staff… friendly, cheerful and extremely patient (with non-french speaking tourists).

We fell in love with this little bakery.

It felt like the picture-perfect French pastry experience.

We liked it so much, we went back for breakfast the next day.

And, the next.

And, the next.

In fact, we ate breakfast there almost every day.

By our fifth visit, the manager (Valerie) requested to wait on us personally.

She took great care of us and made sure our orders were accurate.

We all left Valerie amazing reviews on their Google My Business page.

They earned every kind word.

In today’s IGNITE Design Business Academy lesson, I taught on the importance of giving your client an amazing customer experience.

When you treat your customer to an amazing experience…

They get what they want for their business…

They feel cared for by you, their guide…

They get to experience a new exciting reality in their business…

And, when your customers experience this kind of service,

They will come back for more.

I started my design business in 2006.

And, I’ve learned how to keep satisfied customers in my business.

I have a significant number of clients…

paying me month after month…

year after year…

for over 15 years.

That equates to more than $10K per month in recurring revenue.

These customers have become the foundation of profitable and predictable income in my business.

I’m going to be opening up enrollment for the next cohort of the IGNITE Design Business Academy in October.

Just a few weeks away.

It will be the last cohort opportunity I’m going to offer in 2024.
