It’s Halloween.
My wife, Regi, and I spent some time this evening, walking our dog, Maya, around the neighborhood earlier this evening.
Kids were already out in droves with their parents canvasing the streets.
I made a little observation as they walked the streets.
Going door to door, asking for candy, Is really labor-intensive.
It takes a lot of time.
My second observation as we’re walking.
We walk by our church who is hosting a big block event for trick-or-treaters tonight.
They’re making it super easy for kids and their parents.
Kids walk up to the church and candy is available everywhere.
A cavity-inducing smorgasbord.
There’s games and food.
They even have snacks that the parents like.
Kids are walking away with smiles and a bags full of candy.
And all of this without walking around in traffic after dark.
If I was a kid, I’d ditch the door-to-door candy pandering.
Going to the church is a no-brainer.
That’s working smarter, not harder.
When I started my business, I had no tools or process.
Tasks in my business were so labor intensive.
Scheduling appointments.
Keeping track of clients.
Creating invoices and contracts.
Collecting payments.
Sending payment reminders.
It was all a mess and so inefficient.
Then, I finally got smart.
I organized my entire business with a system and processes that frees up my time and gives me peace of mind.
Tomorrow is Nov. 1 and I have dozens of invoices that will be sent automatically.
And, the automatic payments will quickly follow.
All while I’m sleeping.
